You Don't Need More For More 🪄

Zofie Lloyd-Kucia

Last week my Relax Me Happy Instagram got disabled. I’m not entirely sure what happened…I think I might have been hacked. And it doesn’t really matter. It was such a strange and random thing, i KNOW there was a deeper purpose to it…

Because I KNOW there’s more to life than meets the eye; we don’t just live in a physical world. This entire world is born of and tethered to non-physical. So at once there’s the physical stuff happening AND the spiritual.

Anyway, I’ve been thinking about what the deeper purpose was behind Insta-gate, and quite a few ideas came to me. As I’ve been pondering the situation and how I can make the best of it, make good of it, grow and help others grow as a result, one of the things that came through was the inspiration for this month’s meditation and the blog your’e reading now.

I’m extremely sensitive to energy (my blessing and my curse!) And one of the things I’m acutely aware of on Instagram is the very ‘needy’ energy that prevails among fellow coaches and similar. There’s a definite focus on growth, getting MORE etc and also everyone following the trends to try and keep up with the algorithm! And honestly it gives me the heeby jeebies BIG TIME. I can just feel all the BS.

And it’s kind of like this in life for many of us. While of course it isn’t wrong or bad to have goals, to want to up-level and so on. When we have these desires the mind tends to chime in with the belief that you need more for more.

For example:

I need more Instagram followers to be able to sell my offer

I need more experience/training to be able to do X

I’m too young to be able to do Y

I’m too old…

I’m not attractive enough to find love/show up on camera

I can’t find love, I don’t have my own home

I’m not set up yet to have a baby

And on, and on the stories of the mind go…..

And YES, of course there are times when it might not be sage to have a baby, start coaching etc. This IS true. AND it might make sense to take practical steps. But most often when we tell ourselves we need more for more, it’s a BIG.FAT.LIE and kind of another version of ‘I’ll be happy when…’ Plus, when we listen to this lie it stops us in our tracks! So we tend to either listen and give up, or get into panic mode and start getting all distracted, doubtful, jump on the hamster wheel and get running with all inner wisdom kicked to the kerb!

When you listen to the meditation you’ll notice I talk about the biblical tale which speaks of Jesus feeding thousands of his followers with only five loaves and two fishes. As I say, it really doesn’t matter if you regard this as complete BS or not! Whether you’re at all religious, Christian or not is also irrelevant. It’s not the point. This story came back to me (I remember being told it at school assemblies as a child), and I knew it held so much significance.

This parable is waaaay far fetched and the mind will never go along with it! Again, not the point. What IS the point is understanding that just as doubters there with Jesus would have told him there was no way he could feed the crowd with such a small amount of food, but he DID (for arguments sake), our minds will tell us all the flipping time that we can’t do X because of Y. Others will tell us too! The zeitgeist will never be miracle minded.

And what if that’s not true? What if it’s just a lie? A limiting belief designed to keep you small? We all know the story of Roger Bannister who was the first person to run a mile in under four minutes. Then soon after a number of others also managed the same feat…. And as I mention in the meditation, Nelson Mandela said:

✨‘It always seems impossible until it’s done.’

We think of the outliers-the so-called unicorns of this world- as exceptions to the rule. But what if they needn’t be? What if we’re all capable of more, so much more? And we don’t need more to achieve it! Doesn’t that feel GOOD to you?

As I look at my new Insta (62 followers and counting- ha ha), I think about five loaves and two fishes and this keeps me SO focused, detached from all the BS.

I lay in bed this morning, tapped into the divine, and was filled with this most beautiful sense of being held, loved and fully provided for by God. Then the thought came to me- why would I ever worry when I’m loved and tended to by this most loving essence that created the entire universe?? It just makes no sense!

So, my hope for you my love is that you use the meditation and ideas I share here to break free from the lie telling you you need more for more! As I finish out this post I’m reminded of one of my FAVOURITE quotes of all time:

Theodore Roosevelt:

✨ ‘Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.’

THIS keeps you focused on making the best of things as they are; the perfect antidote for the nagging lie of needing more for more! BOOM! My goodness, this is FIRE and I really hope you feel it.

With so much love,

Zofie 💕🪄
